Red envelope or Indonesian adopted from Hokkien word as angpao. It is originated from China and among South East Asian Muslims (especially Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei), angpao is also adopted as tradition in Eid-Ul-Fitr for handing out monetary gifts in envelop especially to the kids or unemployed young adults. If we talk about angpao, everyone will be happy..hehehee…
