For this week’s challenge..I just share this part of my Tangerang journey. Yes, I visited the second oldest Chinese temple in Java, Boen Tek Bio. It is in Pasar Lama Tangerang, exactly intersection of Jalan Bhakti and Cilame. Well, it locates inside the wet market, but it’s very crowded by visitors especially Tri Dharma followers. It’s also famous of the Toapekong march which held every 12 years. Unfortunately I can only see it again around 2024 then.

Enjoy my unartistic photos here.

Such lovely photos of the second-oldest Chinese temple in Java. It must be frequented by quite a number of Chinese Indonesians. That last shot is very beautiful. Almost as if it’s a flower that changes colour all the time 🙂

    1. Yes Mabel, that’s so crowded by frequents and at the time there was also a Buddhist youth training held there.. Among the aging neighbourhood and smelly wetty market. So classic…the rose? My friend told me to do that when we were nearby and saw a street florist there. Fun haha.
