For this moment, I’d like to share this relic for you.
This is the ruins of Kaibon palace. Kaibon means ‘motherly’ which derived from ‘ibu’ (ee-boo) or mother. It was home of Sultan Syafiudin (1809-1813) and his mother, Ratu Asyiah also lived in the palace. However, after Banten Sultanate dismissal by Netherlands Indie governor in 1816, this palace was functioned as regency house till 1832 when It was demolished. It has become national heritage and located in Kroya, Kasunyatan village, Kasemen, Municipality of Serang, Banten.
