For this moment, let me share again the Chinese-inspired tea egg. I just read the recipe in a book named ‘ Origins of Chinese Culinary’ (surely in Bahasa edition). It’s a very simple in ingredients but time consuming in cook it. How? Here it is
3 eggs, boil them and lightly crack their shells.
Any types of tea (I choose jasmine tea)
Soysauce (3 tablespoons)
1. Boil the water and add tea, fennel powder and soysauce.
2. Mix them until well.
3. Add the slightly cracked eggs into the pan.
4. Let them until at least 10 minutes (longer is better).
5. Serve it.
